Kenneth R. Novak, 79, passed away August 8, 2026, at his residence. He was born February 24, 1947, in Hillsboro, Kansas. He was the son of Alvin and Irene (Medley) Novak. He was a 1965 graduate of Tampa High School. U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has announced $9,457,000 million in new Emerging Contaminants in Small or Disadvantaged Communities (EC-SDC) grant funding to address PFAS and emerging contaminants in Kansas communities.
