16 Jul KARA Joins Coalition Letter on Regenerative Agriculture Executive Order
Kansas Agribusiness Retailers Association joined a coalition letter to President Donald Trump regarding implementation of the Executive Order on Advancing Regenerative Agriculture and Strengthening American Farm Resilience issued on June 25, 2026.
The coalition letter:
- Supports the Executive Order’s directive to expedite the registration of new crop protection products.
- Emphasizes that efforts to advance new registrations should not come at the expense of proven, established crop protection tools that have undergone EPA’s rigorous, science-based review process.
- Raises concerns that a review of pre-harvest desiccation uses and the development of a new cumulative exposure framework—if conducted outside FIFRA’s established registration review process—could create unnecessary regulatory uncertainty for products already approved under current law.
