KARA’s COVID-19 Hub

KARA members –

As events unfold during this unprecedented time in our world, we are doing our best to keep you informed on how COVID-19 decisions are affecting agribusiness. We are holding weekly phone meetings with Kansas Secretary of Agriculture Mike Beam and his staff at Kansas Department of Agriculture where we are relaying the message that even a temporary shut down of any aspect of production agriculture would be ill advised and would have permanent detrimental effects to Kansas and the country.

We are also working with the Kansas Cooperative Council on a joint effort to address current and future local “quarantine” ordinances and restrictions. Stay tuned for additional communication and guidance from your associations.

We have compiled resources below to assist you in finding clear and factual information during this time.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns.

Sincerely,
Ronald C. Seeber
